Having
an Action Plan
There
are so many ways to make money online. Where does a newbie
begin? This is the question which haunts many a budding
Internet
entrepreneur. It can be overwhelming to consider all of the
competing “methods”,
“techniques”,
“plans”, and
“discoveries”. What new
people need is a proven way to start this career path with little to no
startup costs. It also needs to be able to be up and running
in
as little as a week's time.
1.Have
a Goal.
Can you get a good picture of what your desired outcome is?
What
do you want your life to look like? How much money do you
want to
make? How many sales do you want to make? Make it
believable for you. For example, how much money would it take
to
replace your JOB income? That is a good place to
start.
Shoot for that and then work up from there.
2.Read
and Learn.
The bottom line here is that you have to actually DO
SOMETHING.
You can buy all of the Internet Marketing materials that are out there,
but if they sit on your hard drive collecting dust then the only people
who made money were the ones who sold them to you. Now, you
have
to buy many of these things and read them. This is how you learn the
lingo, and become familiar with all of the tools of the
trade. I
have not made money with every plan that I have ever purchased, but I
can honestly say that I have learned so much from every one.
Why
is this valuable? You become a more well rounded
marketer.
You become a more well rounded technical person too. Let me
reveal something about myself. My first real career was an IT
guy. I thought that I knew EVERYTHING about computers, the
Internet, and everything geeky and nerdy. Man, was I amazed
at
ALL THAT I DID NOT KNOW. So, to sum that up, yo have to be
willing to read and learn, and sometimes you have to also be willing to
spend a little to learn. It's not all out there for
free.
What, did I say that it wouldn't cost anything? I said
“shoestring”. Do you know what it costs
to start a
real world brick and mortar storefront type of business?
Thousands. Sometimes tens of thousands or more. The
little
bit of money that you need to spend to learn about how to earn money on
the Internet is minuscule in comparison.
3.Write down your steps, or make a flow chart of your needed actions.
It is always good to have the steps of your plan written down and
charted so that you can refer to it every now and then. This
will
serve as motivation for where you want to go, as well as a valuable
tool to keep you moving forward with your plan.
4.DO SOMETHING!!!!!
You actually have to work at it. Sorry. It's
true.
Real money requires real work. It's not hard work, but it is
real
work and it takes time. It is honest work too. It
is smart
work. Would you rather work hard or work smart?
Smart work
earns exponentially more money than hard work.
One
Week Marketing is very clear on all of this.
